INEC EXPRESS READINESS AHEAD OF SATURDAY ELECTIONS

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has assured Nigerians that the Commission is fully prepared ahead of the Saturday’s voting exercise in the country.
Speaking at a the conference in Abuja where the Commission updated the media on its efforts so far and readiness to make sure the elections were held as rescheduled, the Chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu who once again apologised for the disappointment caused by the postponed elections, stated that, plans are currently in place to ensure materials and personnel are transported to election points on Wednesday and Thursday.
He also reassured that voting materials and personnel will be at the polling units by 7am on Saturday, while the voting process will commence by 8am unfailingly.
