EBONYLIFE TV BOSS, MO ABUDU BECOMES THE FIRST AFRICAN TO BAG MIPTV AWARD

Nigerian TV personality and Executive Producer, Mo Abudu has bagged prestigious MIPTV Médailles d’Honneur, becoming the first African to win the Award.

Mo Abudu wo shared the great news via her verified Instagram page, recived the award in Cannes, France, at the Inter-Continental Carlton Hotel on Monday.

The MIPTV Médailles d’Honneur is awarded to senior executives who have, through their talent, leadership and passion, made a significant contribution to the world of television and the development of the international TV community.

The EbonyLife TV Boss received the award alongside Ilene Chaiken, Writer, Show-runner and Producer (USA); Stéphane Courbit, Chairman, Banijay Group (France); and Jane Millichip, Managing Director, Sky Vision (United Kingdom).

She wrote on her page;

“A major part of my acceptance speech was dedicated to the creative business leaders in the room and the need for a partnership between our respective continents.
