NPFL: MFM FC DROPS TO 3RD ON THE TABLE, AFTER A GOALLESS DRAW AGAINST LOBI

Lagos State based team, MFM FC failed to dazzle as visiting Lobi Stars held them to goalless draw at the Soccer Temple, Agege.

The Olukoya boys who had just 2 shots on target, one each in both halves, could not find the back of the net after 90+ minutes of play.

Also in the 2nd stanza of the game, MFM FC goallee, Folarin Abayomi made a save from Lobi’s Dare Ojo’s long range shot.

In the 77th minute of the match, MFM FC missed a vital chance to take the lead, after Zikiye’s free-kick was missed by the attackers.

This result means MFM have now fallen to the third place on the table as Rangers stole 1-2 away win in Akure against Sunshinestars. Enyimba who also had a 2-0 win against Kwara United are 2nd on the group A log.

MFM’s next game will be against Enugu Rangers on the 21st of April.
