Lagos signs deal with NB to promote entertainment, tourism
The Lagos State government yesterday signed a multi-million-naira contract with the Nigerian Breweries to promote entertainment and tourism in the state.
The One Lagos Fiesta deal was sealed when Governor Akinwunmi Ambode visited the company as it celebrated 70 years in business.Ambode, who commended Nigerian Breweries for its programmes and projects, said his administration would partner it to provide more jobs and diversify the economy.
The governor said the company was highly rated in terms of social investment and commitment to government policies.The NB Chairman, Kola Jinadu, commended the governor for his development strides in the state.
He cited roads construction, improvement in the security of lives and property and the support for industries, as part of his achievements.
“As it is often said, morning shows the day, your performance in the first few months of your administration has shown that Lagosians made the right choice by choosing you as their governor.“Our company would continue to collaborate with you in the task to make Lagos greater,” he said.
