Governor Wike: Nigerian Women Must Struggle For Political Power
Governor Nyesom Wike on Thursday called on Nigerian women to struggle for political power instead of having it handed to them by men. He said this, during the women’s day event of the river state jubilee celebration in Port Harcourt
Nothing stops women from excelling in politics, he said.
According to him women should set up structures that would help them to achieve political mileage.
“When it comes to power, you have to struggle for it. If you are prepared for politics, you must equip yourself,” the governor added.
