The Super Eagles are set to take on Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions in the second game of their Russia 2018 World Cup double-header qualifiers in Yaounde on Monday, after they virtually turned the African champions to helpless cubs with a 4-0 thumping in the first fixture in Uyo on Friday.
Goals from China-based duo Odion Ighalo and captain Mikel Obi, Chelsea star Victor Moses and new Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho sealed a memorable 12th win in 20 outings for the Eagles against the Lions and further enhance their chances of picking a ticket to Russia from Group B of the African qualifiers.
