IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu expected in Court today

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kamu, is expected to appear in court for his ongoing trial over alleged treason, the office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has said
Speaking on Nnadi Kanu’s trial, an official in the AGF’s prosecution team, disclosed to Daily Trust, that the Federal High Court in Abuja,  will on Tuesday determine the application seeking to revoke the bail granted Kanu by Justice Binta Nyako, which the prosecution on August 25 claimed he violated.
Kanu is has been charged together with Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, on five counts bordering on treasonable felony and criminal defamation.
The AGF official also said the prosecution was oblivious of news of Kanu’s disappearance. He added that Kanu is expected to show up in court today, to defend his case like other defendants.
“What you are reading about him are speculations. When we meet in court, whatever happens we will see,” he said.
