LASEMA recovers body of man who jumped into Lagos lagoon
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has discovered a body believed to be that of 40-year-old Oluseyi Adekunle, who allegedly jumped off the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge into the Lagos lagoon, on Friday.
LASEMA officials on Sunday, converged on the scene to assess the state of the drowned man, after two days of searching for the body.
Officials of the Lekki Concession Company was said to have spotted Adekule through their closed circuit cameras as he removed his clothes and shoes before jumping.
Before the officials arrived the scene, the victim had jumped.
His identity was determined through the ATM card and other documents found inside his bag.
