Neymar sent off as PSG drop points against Marseille
Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, was sent off as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Marseille on Sunday.
Neymar, who became the world’s most expensive footballer last summer, had earlier equalized following Luiz Gustavo’s opener.
But Marseille took the lead again in the second half through Florian Thauvin.
Neymar was then booked for dissent in the 85th minute. Two minutes later, the 25-year-old saw red after retaliating to a poor challenge from Lucas Ocampos.
It left Unai Emery staring at their first Ligue 1 defeat of the season, until Edison Cavani fired a free-kick into the top corner to rescue a point.
