Why I left telco for music –Dr. Dolor

Osadolor Nate Asemota, who is also known as Dr. Dolor, currently runs one of the fast-rising and diverse music outfits in Nigeria and Atlanta, USA. Dr. Dolor Entertainment is home to a few talented rising stars, such as Ryan, Vanila and Teni Entertainer – who is famous for singing Fargin.
A graduate of Mathematics and Economics from the University of Benin, he spent a few years working in a business consulting firm, and then moved to the telecoms industry where he worked for over a decade.
When Sunday Scoop asked him why he chose to go into entertainment, he said, “My passion for good music coupled with the pain I see many talented young artistes go through in a bid to realise their potential in the music industry made me decide to invest in the entertainment industry.
“I only started doing this in 2016 and already, my artistes are showing a lot of promise.”
