TV makes people think I have a ‘pot’ belly – Charles Inojie

Read Time:1 Minute, 11 Second

Actor and director, Charles Inojie, has insisted that his ‘pot’ belly is not as bad as most people think and that he works out often.
In an encounter with Sunday Scoop, he said, “Most times, when I meet people, they say my tummy is not as big as the television makes it appear. Sometimes, the television actually blows it out of proportion. My posture, because of my character, may also give my stomach a larger than life status. But my belly is not that bad.”
According to the star actor of The Johnsons, a family series, he manages to work out when he has the time, stating that he is fitter than most people who think they have a flat tummy.
Explaining how he combines work and his role as a father, he said, “I can’t be dishonest with you here. It has not been easy. If a person walks up to me and asks how my family is, he is not asking of the Inojies but the Johnsons. Before I say they are fine, they will ask me if I know the family they are talking about. You can’t blame them because it is natural. I spend more time with The Johnsons than I do with my real family. The truth is I only have Saturdays and Sundays as free days, and I still have to attend church, movie premieres, parties and other events.”
