Jonathan: PDP has never deceived Nigerians… it’s the only stable party

Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan says Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only party that has not deceived Nigerians.
Speaking at the party’s elective convention at Abuja on Saturday, Jonathan said the PDP is the only stable party in the country.
The former president said the party had done “extremely well in managing the affairs of this country”.
He said the PDP is the only party that has not changed its identity.
“We have been consistent in standing on our ground for almost two decades. The PDP is the only party that from beginning of time that has not changed its name, not changed identity in any form,” he said.
“We don’t change based on every electoral circle. PDP is the only stable party – when you talk about PDP, PDP is a party the continue to promise and has never failed.
“PDP is a party that has never deceived Nigerians. We can always promise you and we will give you and we will always give you.”
