Funke Akindele Actress likely to star in “Avengers: Infinity War”
The IMDb page of Avengers: Infinity War lists Funke Akindele as a cast member of the movie.
It seems Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, will feature in the Marvel Comics “Avengers: Infinity War” movie.
She might feature alongside Hollywood hot shots, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Scarlett Johansson and others. Her name appeared on the cast lineup of the movie provided by IMDb, a reputed online database known for listing latest film projects.
Pulse reached out to Akindele, for a confirmation of this unconfirmed story but the actress has yet to respond. Pulse also reached out to her publicist who hasn’t responded also.
Lagos, which is home to Funke Akindele was featured in a “Captain America: Civil War”fighting scene, where some Marvel superheroes were involved in a battle.
If the report concerning the actress’ involvement is true, it will be the first time a Nigerian-born actor will appear in a Hollywood superhero movie.
The “Avengers: Infinity War” movie which is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, has been set for a May 4, 2018, release.
