CHIEF WHIP OF THE HOUSE OF REPS CALL ON NIGERIANS TO DISREGARD FORMER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO’S COMMENTS.
The Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ado Doguwa has urged Nigerians to disregard any comment by the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He stated this on Wednesday while briefing newsmen at the National Assembly.
Doguwa noted that former president Olusegun Obasanjo cannot be a stumbling block to the exercise of human and constitutional right of President Muhammadu Buhari to run for 2019 Presidential election.
He however commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment for improvement of democracy in Nigeria and also corruption fight which is priority in his administration.
Also, on the issue of herdsmen and farmer clashes, Doguwa affirmed that President Buhari is doing all he can to curtail the conflict.
He however urged President Buhari to continue his good work of fighting corruption in the country.
