West Brom Sign Sturridge On Loan From Liverpool
Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion on a loan move from Liverpool for the rest of the season.
West Brom confirmed Sturridgeās deal on their official website on Monday night.
Sturridge had struggled for playing time at Liverpool this season, playing just nine of the Redsā 24 league games, scoring two goals.
āEngland striker Daniel Sturridge has joined Albion on loan for the remainder of the 2017/18 Premier League season,ā West Bromās announced on their official website on Monday night.
āThe 28-year-old Liverpool forward adds further strength to Alan Pardewās attacking options for the final 14 fixtures of the league campaign.
āHe is also eligible to play for Albion in the Emirates FA Cup having not featured for the Reds in this yearās competition.
āBirmingham-born Sturridge arrives at The Hawthorns with a prolific goalscoring record. He has 74 Premier League goals to his name in just 114 top-flight starts and has netted on 27 occasions in cup competitions.ā
