Governor Ambode signs 7 new bills into law including one that guarantees 24-hours power supply in Lagos
Today, Seven bills were signed into law by Governor Ambode of Lagos State and the most significant of which is the Electricity Power Sector Reform Law which gives legal backing to the Embedded Power Programme.
According to the governor, this will help us achieve our electricity generation plan to provide 24-7 uninterrupted electricity supply to Lagosians. Other bills signed into law today are the Amended Land Use Charge Bill, the School of Nursing Bill, the Cooperative College Bill, the Cancer Research Institute Bill, the Amended Customary Court Bill and the Yoruba Language Preservation bill
