SIASIA: TOP FRIENDLY GAMES WILL MAKE EAGLES SUPER FOR RUSSIA 2018 WORLD CUP
Former Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has commended the hierarchy of the Nigeria Football Federation for the several grade A friendly matches lined up for the Super Eagles in preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia, stressing such high profile exhibition games will put the team in the right shape ahead the Mundial.
“First, I must congratulate the team and NFF as well as all Nigerians for having qualified for the World Cup”, Siasia said.
“Next is how we are going to prepare the team for the championship.
“In this aspect, we know that preparation is the key to good performance and I commend the NFF for coming up with several tune up games for the Super Eagles before the World Cup”.
Poland, DR Congo, England and Serbia are some of the strong footballing nations already confirmed for friendly games with the Super Eagles before the World Cup this summer.
