Military to intervene in Herdsmen/farmers clashes- Osinbajo

National Economic Council this thursday received an interim report on the way out of the herdsmen/farmers clashes.
The interim report of the working group headed by the Vice president Yemi Osinbajo recommended to Mr. President that military intervention should be made in all areas where these clashes are prevalent.
They are to give support to the Nigeria Police and other security agencies are doing in forestalling the .
the military is to move into all forests or areas where the clashes are prevalent with the view to flashing out all bandits hiding in those areas.
It also recommended the setting up and training of Agro-Rangerd to protect ranches

The burning issues of fuel scarcity also came to the fore.
Consequently an existing committee has be tasked to work out modalities for the appropriate pricing .to enable petroleum marketers import fuel
The committee is tasked with looking into process and operation of the current price regime as well as create enablement for the marketers.
It is reported that only NNPC had been importing fuel a situation which had led to shortages across the country.
