NIGERIA TO ACHIEVE SELF SUFFICIENCY IN PETROLEUM BY 2019.
Federal Government has reiterated the commitment to ensure that Nigeria achieve self sufficiency in petroleum products by the end of the year 2019.
Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu gave the assurance on Thursday at a press conference on the forthcoming Nigeria International Petroleum Summit( NIPS) in Abuja.
He said, government does not intend to hike the prices of petroleum products, assuring Nigerians that NNPC is working assiduously to ensure adequate supply of petroleum products across the country.

Speaking on the forthcoming summit, the minister said, the summit which will commence from 18th to 22nd of February 2018, is aimed at attracting investment into the country as well as the oil and gas business
