Senator Omo-Agege Openly Apologized To Senate For Criticizing Election Sequence.
Nearly twenty-four hours after the Senate mandated its committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to investigate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege over statement criticising the adoption of a report on the sequence of election, the Delta lawmaker, Omo-Agege tendered his apology to the Senate leadership.
Omo-Agege who offered the apology on the floor of the Red Chamber on Wednesday during plenary was however told by the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who presided of the chamber to resolve the issue with the committee.

In a related development the Northern Senators Forum has also sacked Sen Abdullahi Adamu as it’s chairman who was replaced with Sen Aliyu Wamakko from Kano state.
Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, made the announcement of the change of leadership change at the close of plenary on Wednesday.
