Chrisantus Reveals His Experience In Germany, Urges Osimhen To Leave Wolfsburg

Former U17 World Youth Championship top scorer Macauley Chrisantus has
advised Victor Osimhen to consider leaving German side Wolfsburg for
the sake of his career growth.
Osimhen has struggled to nail a permanent shirt in Wolfsburg since
turning professional over a year ago, but Chrisantus isn’t bothered
about his lack of game time rather the constant managerial changes
going on at the club.
Martin Schimdt left the German side this week after a little over two
months at the helm as replacement for former Arsenal Academy coach
Andries Jonker ‎who started the season as coach of the team.
Since turning professional, Osimhen has worked under four coaches in
just over a year, and Chrisantus reckons that was same experience he
suffered at Hamburg when he joined the team at around same age like
Osimhen.
“The constant change in managers won’t help the progress of Osimhen. I
endured same at Hamburg and it’s a case of starting afresh when a new
manager comes in. And as a youngster the process of winning the trust
of your new coach puts you under undue pressure,” Chrisantus told
Owngoalnigeria.com.
“I will advice him to leave Wolfsburg, if the situation doesn’t get
any better. I left Hamburg a bit late and that’s why I’m still
struggling to get back to my old self. It would be better if he
considers leaving Wolfsburg,” he concluded.
Now at Spanish third division side Real Murcia, the 27 year old
forward had earlier said that he wasted si‎x years of his career at
Hamburg. He appears to have found his bearing with one goal to his
name from three games for promotion chasing Murcia.
