Femi Kuti’s 10th studio album is a ‘message of hope’
Femi Kuti has released his 10th studio album ‘One People One World’, which he says is a “message of hope” to the younger generation.
Kuti and his band, Positive Force, recorded a chunk of the album in Lagos.
The Afrobeat icon said the album’s optimistic outlook and positive lyrics are his attempts at instigating social change.
The album track ‘One People One World’ and ‘Na Their Way Be That’ were two singles earlier released to pave way for the record.
Chocolate City Group, his management company, says Kuti will kick off a series of live performances of the album on Sunday at the New Afrika Shrine, Lagos.
Kuti is also expected to embark on a ‘One People One World’ tour.
