Serbia forward Aleksandar Prijovic is expecting a tough encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Tuesday’s friendly in London but insists his side will go all out to win the game, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Serbs went down to a 2-1 defeat against another African side Morocco on Friday, the same day the Super Eagles defeated Poland 1-0 in another friendly fixture at the Municipal Stadium, Wroclaw.
The 27-year-old who plays for Greek club PAOK reckoned it is important for the team to get back to winning ways after the defeat to Morocco.
“Nigeria is a team that deserves respect, they are physically strong, definitely it will be a good test for us,” Prijovic, who represented Switzerland at the youth levels but switched allegiance in 2017, told the Serbia Football Federation official website.
“We will do everything to win, we will give the maximum to score better than in the previous match.
“The general outcome is not primary, because it is important to fix some things, but in football, it is always good to come out with a win in every game you played. It is important for us to win and achieve a positive result.”
