Salah’s agent ‘denies reports of Liverpool stay
Mohamed Salah‘s agent Ramy Abbas Issa has appeared to rubbish reports that his client has told friends that he will remain at Liverpool next season.
Salah’s performances in front of goal have led to reports linking the attacker to various other clubs, including Real Madrid.
Over the weekend, though, The Mirror claimed that the 25-year-old has privately informed friends that he is not going anywhere this summer and that he is on the verge of signing a new deal at the Merseyside outfit.
Salah’s agent appears to have denied these reports by tweeting: “We don’t discuss career plans ‘with friends’.”
On Sunday, Issa wrote on Twitter: “I’m considering calling out #FakeNews when it emanates from agencies that are supposed to be at least half decent.”
As it stands, Salah is leading the race for the Premier League Golden Boot as he has scored 28 so far, which is four more than Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
