Osun state Auditor General, Adesina Folorunsho has certified the financial statements of the state Government to be free from mis-statements subjects to comments and observations contained in the management report.
Folorunsho spoke in Oshogbo while presenting summary of consolidated accounts of the state government for the year 2015 and 2016 to the public.
Correspondent Abass Okandeji reports that stakeholders, public servants and other members of the public attended the event where the government gave accout of the years under reveiw.
The auditor General submitted that projects and programmes executed were satisfactorily in consideration of fund employed.
Corroborating the the auditor General, the state Accountant General, Akintayo Alabi noted that the public presentation of the audited report was organised so that people of the state will be abreast of the financial status of the state.
