The ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose says the one billion dollars approved by President Muhammadu Buhari for the procurement of security equipment to fight Boko Haram does not follow due process.He stated this while addressing a press conference in ado ekiti,the state capital.Governor Fayose posited that the president lack power to unilaterally spend money from the Excess Crude Account,not even when there is a pending suit by EKITI local government chairman, challengung the power the 36 state governors to purportedly execute the constitutional duty of the federal government without their consent.
