OYO STATE FIRST LADY GIFTS ORPHANAGES AND HOMES TO MARK HER BIRTHDAY
As part of activities lined up to mark her 59th birthday , wife of the executive governor of Oyo State, her Excellency Florence Ajimobi, today, distributed gift items to selected homes and orphanages from across the state.
Items including bags of rice, toiletries, noodles, drinks, biscuits, were handed over to the beneficiaries at the first lady’s office, in Agodi Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
While expressing hr gratitude to the keepers of the orphanages, the first lady also prayed to God to strengthen them as they provide succor to the needy.
Speaking to newsmen, after the ceremony, the first lady also canvassed for more active women participation in politics, hence, urged the governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi to give the state a female deputy governor in 2019
