REPS SUMMON PRESIDENTIAL PANEL, OTHERS OVER PUBLIC PROPERTY RECOVERY.
The adhoc committee of House of Representatives investigating the legality and modus operandi of the special presidential investigative panel on recovery of public property has recommended that heads of special presidential investigative panel should appear before the committee for failure of appearance of the panel on Thursday.
The committee however expressed displeasure at the none appearance of public officers at the hearing saying is a complete contempt for the committee.
The Lawmakers further insisted on the importance of the panel members to give adequate report of their findings.
House of Representative Correspondent, Linda Ike reports that committee also summoned Accountant General, Auditor General, Head of Service of the federation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices and other related matter Commission (ICPC), Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and Inspector General of Police.
