UBEC DISCLOSES MOVE TO CARRY OUT NATIONAL PERSONNEL AUDIT.
The Universal basic education commission has disclosed move to carry out national personnel audit at all basic education institutions in the six geo political region in the country.
Executive secretary, universal basic education commission (UBEC), Dr Hammid Bobboyi, disclosed this on Thursday at a media briefing in Abuja.
He added that the aim is to obtain comprehensive and reliable data of children in school-going age enrolled in basic education schools.
Correspondent Marian Enakhimion reports that the executive secretary noted that the exercise was last held in 2010 which he said does not auger well for the education sector.
He however added that the exercise will one be including private schools.
