Arsenal ‘consider naming stand after Arsene Wenger’

The Frenchman announced last month that he is to bring his 22-year spell in North London to an end once the 2017-18 campaign finishes.
As a mark of respect to Wenger, who has won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups at Arsenal, The Sun reports that the club may rename a section of their stadium after him.
Manchester United did similar in 2011 when altering the name of the North Stand to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, two years before the Scotsman retired.
Arsenal are said to have drawn up a 12-man shortlist of options to replace Wenger, with former Liverpool assistant Zeljko Buvac the latest to be linked.
