Medical Trips Abroad : It was not part of APC’s Manifesto
When PMB was campaigning, he made it clear that no one in public office under his administration would go on medical trips abroad but obviously the reverse has been the case ever since his appointment. The state in which the health sector is right now leaves a sad tale for medical practitioners in the country with unpaid salaries as just one of the issues faced by the sector.
There is no doubt that the brain drain syndrome would continue and there is little or nothing that this present administration has done to solve the problem. This government has successfully made cases against past administrations but the truth is that this administration needs put all hands on deck has the masses have lost faith in the leadership ability of the APC led government.
