Abdullahi: Meeting Buhari Will Inspire Super Eagles To Succeed In Russia
Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi says the visit to President Muhammadu Buhari will inspire him and his teammates at this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Players and officials of the Super Eagles were guests of President Buhari in Abuja on Wednesday.
The visit was part of the team’s send-off before they departed for London to face England in a friendly on Saturday.
“We are honoured to meet with the President Muhammadu Buhari today, this is enough motivation to keep the Green and White flag up in Russia.
“We are off to London and we appreciate the fans and media amazing love. Allah bless you all,” Abdullahi tweeted.
