OAU Sacks Professor for Sex For Mark Scandal

The OAU Senate and the Joint committee council which investigated the sex-for-mark scandal has come back with a number of incriminating evidences regarding the conduct of Professor Richard Akinyele which includes an audio conversation, and whatsapp conversation.
The University Senate has hence passed its judgement effective immediately that the Professor has been dismissed from the services of the institution for gross misconduct.
A number of other measures are going to be put in place in the coming months to ensure that such a shameful act no longer occurs in the institution.
