Adekunle Gold was joined by Simi at his biggest concert outside Nigeria yet: the About 30 concert at the IndigO2 Arena in London

Adekunle Gold has delivered a stellar performance at the sold out About 30 Concert, where he was joined on stage by singer and rumoured girlfriend, Simi.

The concert which held at London’s Indigo at The O2 on June 29, 2018, is the singer’s biggest concert outside Nigeria yet.

According to Adekunle Gold, who took to his Instagram page to share his excitement, while he sold out 800 capacity at O2 Academy Islington in 2017, the About 30 Concert has done four times what he did last year.

Carried unto the stage dressed in regal attire, the Urban High life singer and his band, The 79th Element, thrilled and entertained the audience with authentic performances off his About 30 album, which was released in May 2018.

The concert was hosted by Adesope, and featured performances from Falana, Tolani, Harry Marshall, Bimbi Philips, Juls, and Yung Milli.

Highlights of the evening include a surprise duet with Simi. The duo performed ‘No Forget’ from Adekunle Gold’s debut album, ‘‘Gold”, which had Simi as the only featured artist on the project.

The night also offered a spectacular dance breaks between sets, featuring Nigerian dancers trained by the award-winning Nigerian choreographer and dance instructor, Kaffy.

Adekunle Gold’s performance at the over 2,000 capacity arena in London comes months after the Lagos edition of his concert, ‘One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold, which was described as one of the best concerts of the year 2017.
