Burna Boy, Shina Peller thrill fans at Aquila concert
The music label, owned by Peller, who also established and operates Quilox, a popular nightlife hangout on Victoria Island area of the city, had produced a handful of young and successful artistes since its creation.
While disclosing that the concert was put together to further showcase the talent they had helped to nurture over the last three years, Peller, who recently signalled his intention to go into politics, said that Aquila would continue to support good music and discover new talents for the entertainment industry.
He said, “I’m so happy for the achievement we’ve made so far. One of the most difficult businesses in the world is to run a record label because your products are humans.
“But we have managed to bring the strengths of all the artistes with us together to achieve something great. We are like a family at Aquila and that is why all our artistes are doing well.”
Other big names that attended the occasion include Dammy Krane, Jaywon, Iyabo Ojo and Naomi Peller.
