Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice to extend his goalscoring run as Leicester City beat LOSC Lille 2-1 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday.
The Nigeria international bagged either side of half time as the Foxes ended their encouraging preseason with a victory as they look ahead to their Premier League opener against Manchester United on Friday.
Iheanacho spearheaded a fine attacking display to take his tally to four in Leicester’s last three preseason friendlies.
He opened the East Midlanders’ account with a header on 34 minutes to cancel out Lebo Mothiba’s fourth-minute opener, before netting the winner on 59 minutes.
The 21-year-old had previously found the net against Udinese and Valencia, and was replaced against Lille after 72 minutes, with Josh Gordon coming on in his stead.
Leicester finished ninth in the Premier League last season, with Iheanacho scoring three goals in 20 league appearances.
