Ikeja Court Remands Father for Sexually Assaulting His Twin Sons
An Ikeja Chief Magistrates Court yesterday remanded a 37-year old man, Mr. Jepthath Ighodaro in Kirikiri prisons for allegedly defiling his three years old twin sons.
The case was presided over by Chief Magistrate P E Nwaka, who did not take the plea of the accused.
He ordered the prosecutor to duplicate the case and send a copy to the Director of Public Prosecution for advice.
According to Child Protect Network, who first revealed the crime, Ighodaro, who resides in Surulere, Lagos State, committed the offence between January and July this year at his residence, where his twins reside with him.
The mother of the boys were said to have discovered the evil acts when her sons went to stay with her on holidays.
The case has been adjourned to September 3 for further hearing.
