NGO Calls On Political Parties To Unveil Health Agenda In Running For 2019 General Election
A non governmental organization has called on political parties and aspirants to unveil its overall governance agenda for the health sector in running for 2019 General Election.
Director Centre for Social Justice mr Ezeh Onyekpere made the call on Thursday during a two day Stakeholders Forum on mainstreaming health in governance and political discourse, in Abuja.
He said, its imperative to note that most political aspirants produced manifestos promises of revamping health sector failed to fulfil promises which have resultants dwindling effect on the nation.
Mr Onyekpere however noted that the development and growth of every society is anchored by its leadership and power given by its ultimate sovereign.
In the meantime, human right activist Jaye Gaskia said its time for political aspirants to begin to set agenda for the forth coming 2019 General Election .
He also called on all Nigerians to engage political parties and aspirant on issues that bothers and affects life of Citizens and what political parties have to offer and their implementation of the set goal by each political parties.
