Jimoh Moshood who addressed the aggrieved protesters assured that their complains would be communicated to the Inspector General of Police Ahmed Idris. It would be recalled that the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), international rights group, Amnesty International (AI), the International Press Centre (IPC), among others had also demanded the immediate release of Ogundipe.
