Chelsea Vs Arsenal: Moses Seeks 152nd Start In 220 EPL Games

Former Nigeria international Victor Moses will be seeking to make his 152nd premier league start today (Saturday) when his club,Chelsea host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Moses,who on Wednesday announced his retirement from international football will also be seeking to make his 220th appearance in the league following his debut in February 2010 at the Stadium of Light,coming in as an 84th minute substitute for Hugo Rodallega in his club, Wigan’s 1-1 draw against their host, Sunderland.
The Nigerian made his premier league start in March 2010 in Wigan’s 4-0 loss at the Reebok stadium to Bolton after five substitute appearances.

Moses,who won the premier league title with Chelsea two seasons ago will also be seeking his first premier league goal against Arsenal.
The former Wigan Athletic forward has scored only once against Gunners and it was in the 2017 Community Shield at Wembley Stadium where he put Chelsea ahead before Saed Kolasinac’s late goal evened the game and forced in into penalties with Arsenal winning 4-1.
Moses has appeared eight times in premier league games against Arsenal,starting five.He first played in a premier league game against Arsenal in April 2010, coming in as a 62nd substitute in Wigan’s 3-2 win at the DW Stadium.
He started the next game in December 2011 also at the DW stadium as the Gunners ran riot,pumping four past their host.
Moses started 25 out of 28 premier league games he played for Chelsea last season,scoring thrice.He has scored 20 times in 219 games in about 10 years.
