Nollywood mourns actress Uduak Akrah
Tragedy struck in the Nollywood community on Saturday when an actress, Uduak Akrah, passed away.
She was said to have died as a result of injuries sustained after a fall in the bathroom.
Her colleagues, including producer and critic, Charles Novia, confirmed this on the social media.
āI just heard from someone close to her and her family in Abuja. She suffered complications in the past few months from a nasty fall in the bathroom,ā said Novia.
The actress, who was based in Abuja and acted in films such asĀ Emotional CrackĀ andĀ Bafana Bafana, was said to have taken to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba Lagos where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
A report added, āDescribed by colleagues as a versatile entertainer, both on screen and on stage, Uduak, a graduate of Creative Art from the University of Lagos, was also an event planner and singer.ā
