Aiteo Cup. Rivers United Through To Next Round, Lobi Stars, MFM Crash Out

Rivers United progressed into the round of 32 of the Aiteo Federation Cup following a comprehensive 6-0 win against Gusau Eleven in their round of 64 tie at the Lafia City Stadium on Monday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
There was however no joy for Lobi Stars and MFM FC who crashed out of the competition at the first hurdle.
Bernard Ovoke was in fine form scoring four times as Rivers United totally annihilated amateur side, Gusau Eleven.
Frederick Obomate and Malachy Ohawume got the other goals for the Port Harcourt – based club.
Lobi Stars were sent packing from the competition by another amateur club, Standard FC who won 3-2 on penalties. The game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Standard took the lead in the first half, but Lobi Stars equalised after the break
Bet9ja Nigeria National League outfit, Sokoto United also beat MFM FC 4-3 on penalties after game ended in a 0-0 draw.
