Chelsea are facing the prospect of losing Cesc Fabregas on a free transfer at the end of the season, as some of Italy’s biggest names line up a move for the former Arsenal midfielder. Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is yet to use the Spaniard in the Premier League, with Fabregas only recently overcoming a knee injury.
He has used Jorginho at the base of his midfield, with the Italian impressing in his opening matches. With Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek also competing for places in midfield alongside the immovable N’Golo Kante, Fabregas may have his work cut out to get back in the team.

Both AC Milan and Inter Milan are keen on signing him, according to the Express. With his contract expiring, Fabregas is permitted to start talking to clubs overseas after December and his future remains uncertain. If he’s unable to force his way into Sarri’s plans, then Chelsea face losing him for free.
