Abdullahi Glad To Resume Training After Injury-Induced Layoff
Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi is glad to be back in training with Turkish club, Bursaspor, following his injury-induced absence, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The right-back is yet to feature for Bursaspor this season due to the injury which also forced him to miss Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Seychelles in Victoria last Saturday.
“Good to be back in training! I appreciate your support and prayers. Thanks for the love ???⚽#WeAreBursaspor ” reads a tweet on his Twitter handle.
Bursaspor’s Sunday’s Turkish Super Lig clash against Rizespor will however come too soon for the former Kano Pillars star
who is yet to attain full match fitness.
Abdullahi may however be in the frame for Bursaspor’s league clash against Istanbul Basaksehir on Friday, September 21.
The 25- year-old made 14 league appearances for Bursaspor last season after arriving the club in January from Cypriot club, Anorthosis Famagusta.
