DELTA: FLOOD VICTIM DELIVERS A BABY AT IDP CAMP

One of the flood victims at the Internally Displaced Persons, IDP’s camp at Ogbe-Afor Primary School in Asaba, Delta State, has been delivered of a baby girl.
The woman known as, Mrs Chidinma Ismailia, was delivered of a baby girl by the State Primary Health Care Development Agency medical team, in the early hours of Friday.
Chairman of the Agency and also a member of the quick response team confirmed the the development. “Today (Friday) a baby girl was put to bed by Mrs. Chidinma Ismailia at the Holding Camp Asaba Delta State. The mother of the newborn while appreciating God for safe deliver also commended my boss the Delta state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,” she announced.
The baby and her mother are said to be in good condition, a source at the camp told our correspondent.
