The newest beauty queen in town Anita Ukah is starting to come to terms with the reality of last night’s win.
Following her crowning as 2018 MBGN, the 23-year-old queen took to Instagram to share her gratitude to people who showed her support.
She wrote, “Last night, I felt one of the greatest joys. I emerged as the winner of the most beautiful girl in Nigeria and would be representing Nigeria at the Miss World pageant. To my wonderful designer @viitalys who made all my outfits, thank you so much. You pulled off all my outfits in less than 10 days. Thank you so much. To my new family @silverbirdmbgn thank you so much for this platform and u look forward to working with you. And to my family, thank you so much! I love you guys so much…”
Anita beat 36 girls to the coveted crown on Friday night.
