A RANCOUR BETWEEN I AND AMBODE? THAT’S AN INSULT! – TINUBU
Joseph Omoniyi
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has debunked the report of a conflict between him and the Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, describing it as an insult.
Tinubu who stated this on Tuesday at Alausa where he cast his vote in the ongoing party’s governorship primary election, said, it is an insult for him to engage in any sort of fracas with Ambode, as he practically brought him from the position of a civil servant and “presented him to the people.”
The former Lagos State governor who was welcome by a mammoth crowd screaming “jagaban”, also explained that, the ongoing exercise is an indication that true democracy is practiced in the party.
