Joseph Omoniyi
A faction of the Boko Haram militants identified as,the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, , on Monday executed Liman and promised to keep Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi schoolgirl still in their custody as a slave.
Obi reacting to Liman’s death via a tweet, condemned the Federal Government for not meeting the deadline by the insurgents which has now resulted to her death.
He also described the Federal Government as irresponsible and insensitive.
“My heart and prayers are with the families of Hauwa Liman, an aid worker who was killed by Boko Haram.
“It’s devastating to know that the government was given a deadline prior to her killing and nothing was done. Sadly, another life has been lost to an irresponsible and insensitive government,” he tweeted.
