Joseph Omoniyi
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has indicated that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC may be presenting former Minister of State for Defense, Musiliu Obanikoro as one of the witnesses when he is charged to court.
According to reports, Fayose was invited by the anti-graft agency over the purpose of the N1.3 billion he gave to Obanikoro to rig the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti state.
The Former Governor took to his Twitter page to react to the development;
The money was allegedly released from the office of former National Security Officer, Namadi Sambo, and is part of the $2.1 billion arms procurement fund allegedly wasted by the former administration.
