NIGERIAN POLICE RESCUE UBER DRIVER FROM ARMED ROBBERS
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, in the early hours of Wednesday saved an Uber driver, from armed robbers, who wanted to steal his car.
According to the RRS twitter handle, @rrslagos767, the attempted robbery took place along the Lekki-Epe axis of Lagos State at 3am.
The e-hailing cab driver was reportedly held at gunpoint by the robbers.
However, the plan of the robbers was foiled, as the police arrived at the scene. They fired a shot into the air and the robbers scampered, leaving behind their weapon.
